Vicki Golden, one of Coastal Gallery's artists, has had work selected for the above prestigious event in London. The New English Art Club was originally set up by radical artists rejected by the more conservative Royal Academy, as their representational works of art took a more modern approach. The New English Art Club continues to nurture new talent, showcasing the very best of figurative art in Britain today. Coastal Gallery is delighted to feature Vicki's hauntingly beautiful paintings, which draw inspiration from the likes of Frida Kahlo and Stanley Spencer. If you can't get to London, then come to Coastal Gallery for a taste of Vicki's stunning work.

Bev Saunders: Shades of Summer
June 25th to July 15th
From deckchair stripes and colourful beach balls to the faded blues of seaside boats and summer lavender, Bev's selection of images evokes memories of summer at the coast.
Bev is a guest artist at Coastal Gallery. She is a graphic designer/photographer and has an MA from the Royal College of Art in London. Bev is the only photographer whose work is featured in the gallery and this is her second exhibition at the venue.
"Shades of Summer" is for everyone who, come rain or shine, enjoys summer days pottering on beaches, exploring boat yards or ambling along shaded paths; and would like a reminder of those special, sometimes fleeting, moments. The exhibition runs at Coastal Gallery from June 25 to July 15. Bev will be in the gallery on July 1,7,8,14 and 15 (10am to 4.30pm), and would love to see you. Bring a deck chair!
